Can anyone recommend hair straighteners for under 拢20 that are good for straightening slightly wavy hair.?

seriously, bead headCan anyone recommend hair straighteners for under 拢20 that are good for straightening slightly wavy hair.?
Sorry no all the cheap ones I tried are no good - GHDs are worth every penny! Can anyone recommend hair straighteners for under 拢20 that are good for straightening slightly wavy hair.?
Bedhead is really good, but costs more than $20. Go to your local Walgreens or CVS and just get any iron that is less than 2inches and is CERAMIC PLATED.
why waste 拢20 and then next month you will be looking for another pair for 拢20 and so on. save your self the wastage save up and get a pair of GHD's you can buy them now for 拢65 on the internet, don't waste your money on anything else, I have been there and done that had my GHDs for 2 years now and have never looked back, will buy a new pair when these are done even if they cost 拢200
yeah dude, borrow your mum's iron use a sheet between the iron and your hair, and use a friend to assist.
I think you will need to spend a bit more than that.

It's better to get something great that you will use for years rather than get some rubbish ones which you have to throw out after a few weeks.

You could try trevor sorbie, anything really. GHDs are good but very pricey. Good luck :)

Try waiting until somewhere like boots has a sale and keep an eye out for money off offers.
revlon. straight and effective
I swear by my Remington ceramic straighteners! They have lasted two years (used every day) and only cost 拢23. You can still buy them for around 拢25 in Argos, Boots and some catalogues.
send some money and get a pair of good quality straightners that will last for years!

good luck

xx
Tesco do some for 拢9.99 and they are great, dont snag your hair or anything
conair is wat i have and my hair is straight/relaxed waivy hair and it works great and lasts all day

Recommended hair straightener?

I'm looking to buy a good quality ceramic hair straightener and I was wondering what you would recommend. My hair is just past my shoulders but it is super curly, thick and frizzy. I'm looking to spend $100-$115 Canadian. In addition to this, where would I be able to buy this straightener in Ontario.Recommended hair straightener?
Invest in a Sedu or a Solia. The reviews speak for themselves. I have the Sedu 1.5'; and it straightens my long, super curly %26amp; thick hair in record time without pulling or burning my hair.

Sedu:

Solia:

Chis really aren't for people with naturally curly hair. They work best on wavy and naturally straight hair. Plus, they're incredibly unreliable. Most break within the first 8-12 months of use. And if you're going to invest in a professional flat iron, you want it to last.

Also, Sedus are REMARKABLY lightweight which means a lot for long-haired girls like us:)

Hope this helps!

~ Amber

PS: I checked, and Folica DOES ship to Canada!Recommended hair straightener?
Sedu is the best. That's what my hair stylist uses. I've tried many flat irons (CHI, TCP, T3 and GHD).
I have the one called and it ends with bliss...I think the first one word is baby but I'm not sure. It's really good and I would suggest getting the straightner with small to midsize plate so you can work with your hair much better.
recomend a ghd,. they have ceramic plates, they keeep the moisture in your hair and you can do beautiful curls with them. and straightened hair last longer.
As a stylist, I have used a lot of flat irons/hair straighteners, including Sedu, Hai, Infrashine, Chi, Paul Mitchell, Solia, Big Sexy, Andis, Babyliss Ghd, T3, Kenta etc. You should get a Professional hair straightener, they style much better and faster, and most importantly, they protect your hair.

In terms of performance:

The best ones are: Sedu, Kenta, Solia, Infrashine, Ghd. These are top of the line professional brands

Above average: Chi, Hai, Paul Mitchell,

Average: T3, Big Sexy, Andis, Babyliss

Below Average: Conair, Vidal Sassoon, Revlon, Bed Head etc. These are cheap consumer brands that you will find in drugstore. If you care about your hair, do NOT buy them.

I have an entire box of junk that I have bought throughout the years to straighten my hair, including other flat irons. Nothing has ever come even close to giving the results that Sedu does.

I have thick, curly hair which is prone to frizzing when it is straightened. I chose Sedu after my hair stylist used it on my hair. This really does work. It heats up quickly, and is very light and comfortable to use. I can finally straighten my hair myself and look like I came from the salon, in about 15 minutes. It does not dry, break or damage my hair in any noticable way. Best yet, my hair style last for days.
corioliss
I recommend CHI. Hair straightners that you can change the.. heat. So for your hair prob 200- 250. That might take

about.. 30 mins or so.

Also you can buy a CHI straightner anywhere i guess. Ebay is also good.
a chi straightner.

:]
i dont live in canada so i wouldnt kno where to get it.. but always get a straightener with ceramic plates.. it wont ruin your hair... :)
try to look for the corioliss or the chi

Sedu is the best you can buy. Solia and GHD are next, and then Chi. those are the best.

www.folica.comFrom what company would you recommend hair straighteners from?
I would have to say FHI 207 RVI and its affordable.
i recently bought a 50 dollar conair one at walmart and it works wonders! Its silver and 100% ceramic
I would most likely say ConAir. I'm saying this because, when I straighten my hair, I notice how well the straightener heats up, and the better it heats, the straighter ur hair will get. I most defiantly recommend ConAir.

Can you recommend hair straighteners that really DO work?

I bought these in the sale and they're lousy:

    GHD's ...

Don't even bother with any others. Can you recommend hair straighteners that really DO work?
coriolis is great. i got mine at a kiosk in the mall in northern virginia and bargained it down for $100. sounds expensive but worth it i promise. its amazing how shiny it makes your hair. no matter what the ppl selling them tell you all hair straighteners damage your hair but these 20 something dollar straighteners do worse. my coriolis supposedly ';heats your hair from the inside without damaging it'; which is probably just a sales pitch but hey it makes my uncontrollable curly hair shiny. well worth the $
I LOVE the ';Wet 2 Straight'; by Remington! It has high heat and leaves my hair looking amazing, not frizzy and fried like other straighteners do. My hair is naturally wavy, but I love wearing it straight. This straightener is so good, that even if I wore my hair curly in the morning, I can straighten it to go out at night without washing it and it still looks amazing!!!
Every woman i know says GHD's. My sister's been a hair dresser for 16 years and she also says they're the best although last year i bought my mrs F%26amp;D's and she said they worked just as good even though i went and got her GHD's this year.
When it comes to straighteners, go with CHI. They are used by professionals.

They are absolutely amazing! They heat up very quickly, too.

However, they are a little on the pricey side. Mine was $250 but I have to say, it was totally worth it! If you have the money, get one.

Plus, most of them work as great curling irons. So it's kind of two in one. Just make sure to get the rounded ones.
Get some straightening serum comb it through, then take small sections of hair and staighten it with a CHI for bone straight hair even for me and I have african american/ native american hair.

    Or:

FHI, I use this, and no it's not a knock off CHI, lol. FHI IS a real brand

    MaxiGlide's arent bad either.
    Remmington.

i would say GHD's but there expensive: myn and 5 of my m8z broke within a week and 2 of my friends hair has broke, become weak and frail and can't fix it because of there heat.
I heard CHI has good straightening tongs.
my wife uses remington its the biz.
You cant go past a GHD, it really is saloon quality.
    CHI for sure.
    GHDs???

But vidal sassoon arent that bad

    Any recommended hair straighteners?

I have a lot of thick, hard-to-manage, wavy hair. With a cheap straightener that I got from Walmart, it usually took me like 2 hours to straighten, and it still looked big. But a hair stylist once used the Paul Mitchell Flat Iron on me along with the Super Skinny Serum, and it only took 30 minutes to get my hair sleek and straight. So I was planning on getting that one, but I did some research and found a lot of mixed reviews. I've also heard a lot about the CHI. But would it really work with my hair?Any recommended hair straighteners?
I have a chi and I have wavvy thick hair. Before I had a walmart straightner and i would do my hair before school and by 2nd hour i would have those like wavy kinks and it sucked! But then I bought a CHI and I will NEVER go back Its amazing! Everyone says they are expensive and I agree they are a bit pricy but its a good investment. Don't you feel WAY better when your hair looks good? Anyways they sell them at Bed Bath %26amp; Beyond (weird I know) and you can go onto their website and sign up for their mailing list and get a 20% off coupon and they are oringnally like $129 so they are about a $100 with the coupon. They also except linens n things coupons. And if you don't a Bed Bath and Beyond near you you could try their website (not sure how much s%26amp;h is though)

Hope this helps!Any recommended hair straighteners?
I would get a Chi and the liquid. I use it and I have very thick hair.
Nicky Clarke straighteners are EXCELLENT with a fair price (not too cheap or too expensive) my hair is really frizzy and i get straight hair within half an hour
If your hair is thick, you need more heat. So a chi is ceramic, which heats up hotter and stays hotter between each section use.

But before you go and spend 100$ get the Paul Mitchell serum. that's the good stuff.

    It will help alot.

    good luck.
    try goldwell
I got a CHI and I have thick curly hair and it worked better than those walmart cheapies.

Yes it is expensive but they are worth it!!!!

Make sure you get some spray to help protect your hair to!!!! hope I helped!!!
chi did sound gud to me too but ghds and any other skinny irons were made originally for those with short hair. I have just bought large Saks ceramics from ebay, they make mornings so much easier!
Try the Sedu, Chi, or maxiglide
get the revlon hair iron at target or other stores. its cheap and very affective. with the money you have left over, you can use it to buy other hair products
    OMG!! CHI is amazing!!

If you can afford it and have a carrier nearby, get some ';Straight Sexy Hair'; straightening cream [by sexy hair], or the cheaper Herbal Es senses Dangerously Straight cream [not too much, it gets greasy...] from, like, Wal mart.

Then, Spray hair evenly with heat protecting spray. [sexy hair has one, and i love it, but there are many at drugstores that work]

USE A CHI FLAT IRON, I LOVE THEM!!! they work for everybody!!

If your hair is really, really curly and kinda puffy, spray it with some aerosol hair spray to hold it, Pantene makes a really good one.

    HOPE I HELPED!! %26lt;33

    Recommended hair straighteners?

I'm asking for a new hair straightener for Christmas this year. I have had three straighteners in the past and now I want a more expensive, advanced, professional straightener about $100 give or take. The only feature needed is adjustable temperature. Also when I straighten my hair it tends to look dull and unhealthy. I have long thin hair thats a bit damaged because I straighten my hair frequently and I'm still growing it out. What straighteners do you recommend? Thanks! =]Recommended hair straighteners?
    definitely the chiRecommended hair straighteners?
i have had lots of straightners! and i also have long hair and my hair is thic and wavy so none of them really did the job. my hair would always be frizzy also. i just bought a new one about 3 weeks ago at target its called REMINGTON and i love it! it makes my hair look so much healthier and works great! its the best one ive had out of all my straighners! and its no more than a hundred dollars! hope that helped!
    Chi
CHI or GlobalBeauty. GlobalBeauty is prob the best. Also, for a bit cheeper try Metropolis. Go to www.folica.com for good ones.
the bed head brand is very good its about 80 dollars you can get it at walgreens or a beauty store...good luck:)
the chi :) but its not tempature adjustable

but it does a very good job of straightenin it heats up very fast n leaves hair soft n chiny :)

i got mine at folica.com for only $80

    soo yeahh

thankssI NEED A NEW HAIR STRAIGHTENER!!!?
I honestly recommend getting a chi straightener. They are pretty expensive though, but you get what you pay for and they last soooo long. And they come with a 3 year warrentee so that proves that they should last you a while. Also, they heat up extremal fast, and they get the job done no matter your hair type. Some can also mulit-task as a curler so that's always handy :) Expensive yes, but you get what you pay for.I NEED A NEW HAIR STRAIGHTENER!!!?
Well I recommend this hair straightener:http://www.target.com/Conair-Professiona/a> I have one just like that, the only difference is mine is red. This flat iron works super fast (even on my hair that's super thick+curly) just be careful! It's really hot. Also, to make sure it stays nice and straight try using a product like this on your hair:http://www.target.com/Maxius-Beyond-Stra/a> All that only adds up to about 38 bucks! That's why I love target:). Best of luck.
Hello ,I would most definitely recommend CHI and GHD to you, these two are the best of hair straighteners . such as Dark/Pink GHD MK4 styler flat hair straightener iron ,blue digital 1 inch CHI Ceramic Hairstyling Straightener iron .

I need a new Hair Straightener.?

Well, I've been thinking about getting a new straightener.

And i saw this one on tv one night..

    http://conairsteamstraight.com/mc/home_0…

I don't know if its really good for my hair or not though!

please help me =]I need a new Hair Straightener.?
I have heard that Conair products are baaad! i recommend CHI they are a little pricy but worth it now if you cant afford one, remember to buy a hair straightner that has ceramic plates instead of metal ones cause the ceramic ones wont burn your hair and you can use it and use it and your hair will be fine the same thing with curling irons! and also if you dont have enough money now to buy a good quality one then wait until you do cause what's cheap will damage your hair I need a new Hair Straightener.?
Well I cant really say whether this particular straightener is any good or not as I've never heard of it, but I can recommend a fairly cheap, relatively inexpensive straightener if that's of any use to you?

SHE hair straighteners, you can pick them up for around the £55 mark. We use these in the salon all the time %26amp; as a professional I can thoroughly recommend them to you!

We buy ours from www.thehairsite.co.uk as they are the cheapest around %26amp; we always receive a fast delivery service %26amp; great aftercare!
    You should buy a SEDU

i've had mine for about a week

    %26amp; i absolutely love it!

it works great %26amp; is worth the price

i got mine for about $115
i have a straightener by toolscience

    its at sally beauty supply

    i love it
you should et it if u are sure about it...!!1

i use chi and it is the best it is about $150
I love my straightners - they're branded 'REMINGTON'
    seems kinda cheep

I need a new hair straightener!???

I need a new hair straightener and a curling iron too. But I'm wondering, which brand is good for my kind of hair. My hairdresser told me the CHI would be great. but I heard that GHD and Conair Infiniti is great too.

and i need a new curling iron as well so please help!

my maximum price for a straightener is 150$

maximum price for a curling iron is 50$I need a new hair straightener!???
I would check out Folica.com they usually have pretty good deals on straighteners and a lot of people write reviews on the different products so you have a pretty good idea of what you're getting. I got mine there and I love it. Also when you buy a straightener most of them come with a travel pouch/mat.I need a new hair straightener!???
GHDs are the best, but the lowest I've seen them is $195 at Sephora. Maybe you can find one that goes in with your budget on ebay or something.
straightner - this is gonna be hard to believe, btu the best one that i have ever owned was wet2straight, its for sale in walmart. it honeslty woks aazing ... trust me this works great .. and u can use it on damp hair.

curling iron - ANYTHING from conair or rusk.
i don't know about a curling iron but a hair straigtner, definitely chi!
wet to straight for a straightener. and who in ther right minds would pay 150 bucks for a damn straightener?
I have the conair infinity, and it takes me about twenty minutes to straiten my hair. It's seriously freaking awesome, and it's only 50 bucks. I can't help you on a curling iron though, sorry.
    CHI- Best of the best!

    Hey! I need a new straightener! ^_^

I have a very old VS Sassoon, wet2dry straightener. I'm not very fond of it because it's wide plated, got built in combs and isn't very hot.

I really dislike built in combs.

I'm not willing to spend too much on a hair straightener, so no GHD's! I've used them many times and really don't think they're all they're cranked up to be :/

I heard of some brands like PPS, Urban Culture and Kiyoski (saw it on TV) but I don't know much about them so I would love some advice about strange brands like that.

I'm not very willing to spend too much on a hair straightener nor do I really care about straightening my hair everyday, but ANY advice on brands to stay away from, recommended brands or good straighteners would be greatly appreciated!

5 stars to best answer!I need a NEW hair straightener?
OK! TV straighteners, NO.. understand that with a flat iron you must be straightening your hair properly! dont just grab a chunk and expecting it to be straight. with that note i dont know how you do it. but yeah GHD is good. if you use it right. and Chi is amazing! and EBAY is your best bet for that. as well the store brands are no good, as you know from experience, the cheaper the crappier its going to be. Give and take with that. What i would suggest is that! you go to a salon ask if they have a Chi flat iron and ask to use a few spots on you, to see if its right for you. go to the unprivate salons (like first choice haircutters or Great clips etc.) that way if they do get charged you then it`ll be fairly cheap! (stupid if they did.but you never know)

LONG STORY SHORT, Ebay, find Chi, and look for a flat iron that has ceramic plates, and 2 in ones are not the best way to go.

Ok, so have fun. and with experience you find the one for you. :)

    PS

Im a hairstylist. :)I need a NEW hair straightener?
I have a Remington salon pro gold proffessional which works great and comes with a great package like a brush, the straightener itself and a hair dryer, I'd really recommend it, but its not wet2dry though. I'm not too sure about the price because I got it as a present lol
all that TV comersials is bullcrap. dont get it.

try to get a CHI. their really nice. and you could get a new one on ebay for about 80 dollars.

I've been using it for about 3 yeears now, and my hair is wonderful, not burnt, not anything, and i straighten my hair everyday.

I need a new hair straightener?

I currently have the remington wet2straight, and yes it worked fine, but i want a new professional one. I've had the remington for about 3 years now, and it just doesnt seem to do the job as well as it used to. I heard that aluminum plating is bad, but this one salon uses a GHD and it has ceramic heaters but still has aluminum plating. If aluminum plating isnt good for the hair, why would a salon use it? I just want to know because i did like their straightener and wanted to get it, but wouldnt want to id it was bad for my hair. I have curly hair, and need something that will really make my hair sleek and straight, without damage, or creating frizz. any recommendations??I need a new hair straightener?
Actually, ALL GHD models are ceramic plated- they were actually the first brand to use ceramic plates on flat irons.

GHD's are the best irons, in comparison to CHI, Sedu, FHI and Solia, but they also cost the most. They straighten your hair, but they also flatten/thin it out without damaging. If you're buying a GHD, i'd recommend you buying from Sephora, or Folica. They're expensive, but if you're getting a GHD for 100 or around there, it's most likely fake b/c the fake ones are everywhere now, and they're REALLY good fake ones that are dangerous b/c they don't follow safety regulations:

    http://www.folica.com/GHD_Ceramic_Hai_d3/a>

If you're on a lower budget, but still want a professional iron, i like the Solia and the Sedu- The Solia because it offers salon performance at a low price, and heat settings!, and the Sedu, because it works really well with thick hair:

    http://www.folica.com/Solia_Tourmalin_d1/a>

    http://www.folica.com/Sedu_Revolution_d2/a>

before you spend that much money on an iron, i would definately read through the user reviews and pictures on Folica and see people with the same texture hair as yours, and see how it works out. Also, ask your hairstylist to tell you which one he/she prefers, becuase they know best (for the most part!).

Good luck!I need a new hair straightener?
Andis. I know it's not professional, but it's cheap and it works like a charm!

I've had my Andis straightener for about 3 months and it has done wonders for my hair. It has ceramic plates and once I'm done straightening my hair (which doesn't take all that long), my hair is still shiny, smooth and not static-y.

At least look into it before you buy a more expensive straightener...I've heard of people comparing an Andis to a CHI.
I have frizzy curly hair too. CHI works AWESOME! It really makes my hair soft, straight, not frizzy, and it can style! You definitely need one thats ceramic! And I would recommend not using straighteners that are for wet hair. Even if they dry your hair and straighten it, its still using heat on your wet hair and that realllyy damages your hair. I did that years ago and my hair is still very damaged from it.
chi is pretty nice and it does a good job at keeping your hair straight instead of straightening it then a few hours later its wavy.
    Amika
    have you tried the instyler?
i would get a revlon or CHI straitning iron well i hope you pick a great one
    np group or a chi
get an iso or a chi

    New Hair Straightener?

Please don't tell me the chi, or sedu are the best, because Sedu i really want but both these r way out of my price range. I got the Conair Infinity straightener 1 inch today, and I thought use it on my hair tonight see if its good if soo keep if not take back Sunday. Well is it supposed to like pull on your hair and some hair strands come out with it? Because other then the yanking out my hair lol it is good its pretty straight stands up to the weather, shiny, and smooth. but what can i do to make it soo it doesn't do this? New Hair Straightener?
brush in some really good hair spray New Hair Straightener?
I bought a straightener off of ebay 3 years ago for $15 and it is still working wonderfully. but i just bought the same one last week for $20. if you play your cards right you can get a really good one really cheap. is called a cholche or something like that
If your hair is ripping out that easily, then it might be in bad shape. Especially if you have dyed it a lot recently. You may want to try some strengthener, or just get some good heat protection product. (paul mitchell's super skinny serum or vo5 heat defense)

If your hair is naturally very curly, though, you might want to just buy a relaxer instead.

And, if you want advice on what I think is a good straightener, I'd go with andis multi ceramic. It does good on my hair (mine hair type is straight and thick)
the HerStyler Forever... is REALLLY good. i love it, and i have REALLY curly hair, and it makes it pin straight.

if you are gonna buy it, buy it on ebay. if you buy it off of the Her website, its like $300.. which is wayy out of anyones price range.
Try going to a Sally Beauty Supply if you have one near you, if not you can go to their website. There's a straightener exactly like a Chi but only $60. It's called GVP (Generic Value Product) and works great. I bought one after a friend recommended it.

I need a new hair straightener!?

i need a really good hair straightener that can straighten my hair with very little separating of my hair ( with clips ect) and under $50I need a new hair straightener!?
I use Gnh ';cold n hot';.

Works perfectly for me and i only have to separate my hair one time. =]I need a new hair straightener!?
The hairstraitiner I use is called the MAXIGLIDE!!!!! i love it only kuhz it has a barrier that lets you go to your roots and without steam burning yourself. The other thing is that it has little teeth that will help untangle your hair. The last this is that it has a water compartment that lets you store water so you can steam your hair like an iron. I LOVE IT AN DYOU SHOULD TRY IT!!!!!!

I'm looking for a new hair straightener?

Hey Yahoo! (: I currently have a Conair 1-5/8'; Ceramic Straightener. I purchased it about 3 years ago and I'm falling out of love with it. When I first got it I was so excited that I finally had a straightener. But now, I think that it's not ';the one'; anymore.

So I'm looking for a new one... Can you help me out? I'm looking for a straightener that has:

-25 or 30 heat settings (So that I can change the heat setting.)

    -60 second heat up

    -1'; or 2'; inch plates

I know that Chi's are ah-mazing, but I think that it's too hot for my hair. Mainly, I use my straightener for touch-ups so I don't need a super hot straightener. Does that make since?

Thank you so much for answering and helping! (:I'm looking for a new hair straightener?

xxI'm looking for a new hair straightener?
I have the bedhead 1/1/4 inch straightener and it works great! There are a ton of heat settings on there so if you don't want 400 degrees on your hair you don't need to put that much heat onto your hair. Also it works great and my hair stays straight all day!
I am so familiar with this problem. Before I give you any advice about products and such I have to tell you that it takes a while for the hair to be trained and once your hair is trained then it really doesn鈥檛 matter what kind of products you use. In my opinion shampoo and conditioner is not such a big deal. This is when the Super Skinny Serum comes in to play, then I use a light oil, like Hot Six. Its a liquid, this helps to lubricate the hair so that it doesn鈥檛 singe while flat ironing. Now, use a small amount of oil but for the first day it will seem a little heavy but not super heavy, you will still have major body. Always remember to wrap your hair at night with a soft/slick material so that it doesn鈥檛 pull or split. One last thing, alot of people spend macho bucks on expensive flat irons but I kid you not, I paid 15 bucks for my flat iron and it is the best one I have ever owned.I hope this information is helpful. Don鈥檛 lose hope and remember once you train your hair it will be almost as if you have a different texture and then it will be more manageable.

For more Information about hair you can concern with this site: http://www.haircareness.blogspot.com/
Well personally i use a GHD its great but you cant change the heat setting x
Well, I like Revlon. It works really nicely. My revlon straightener has to be really hot though for it to work because i have curly hair. but revlon makes some other really nice ones for hair like yours.
i have a babyliss it cost 50 euros in argos its the best i have had its 2 inches in width and it is fully heated in less than 30 seconds its like a ghd but cheeper it heats to 50-220degrees goodluck i hope you fine the perfect one! =]x

    Buying a new hair straightener?

i want to buy a new hair straightener. i was looking at the conair infiniti silver nano which is about 100. i was looking on sallybeauty.com and i saw other ionic straighteners for less. i'm sure the conair one is better but my hair is barely even wavy (straightening it just makes it look nicer) but i want to get a decent one that won't kill my hair. if i buy one that is ionic, does that mean it shouldn't damage my hair as much even if it's not over 100 dollars? i'd rather not spend that much on something i won't use every day.Buying a new hair straightener?
ones from sallys beauty are really good. better than conair. read some reviews on a couple on the site. dont get a conair. its not worth it. =]

if u want to know what iron to get then

CHI n GHD's are best! get one of them! and no they aren't 100 to 200 dollars if u order online...i got my chi turbo for 87 dollars at amazon.com

and at ioffer.com the chi's cost from 29.99 to 50 dollars..they are authentic not replica's.(some are replicas so ask the seller first but most arent)

and can u believe ghd's at that site only cost 16.00 dollars? once shipping is added its like 60 something... that is still cheap for such a great salon product!! .at salons its 200 to 400 dollars!!

    http://www.ioffer.com/i/GHD-MK4-PINK-HAI/a>

it comes with a pouch, iron, clips, and instruction dvd,,if u want the chi then get the turbo chi because it has temperature control unlike other chi models so ur hair wont burn since u choose the temp u want n turbo works much faster!!

message me for any help!! chi's are cheap at the site! buy one! u will be happy!New hair straightener??
Sedu is the top of the line, best flat iron out there, but it is really pricey.

That's why I reccomend Remington. Don't get the Wet2Dry one, it just fries your hair. No Wet2Dry flat irons work. I reccomend the Shine Therapy one. I'm buying it because it's looks amazing. It's infused with conditoners and avacado oils so while you straighten, you're protecting your hair and it heats up in 1 minute!

    http://www.stylewithremington.com/shinet/a>

PLUS it's half the price of the Sedu.

What else could you ask for in a flat iron?
The best straightener out there is the Sedu! trust me i've used CHI,Solia,FHI,ION,Kenta,GHD,etc. but the best out of all those was the Sedu! it leaves my hair silky, smooth, soft, shiny, straight, and healthier than most irons! and it stays like that until i wash it. i highly recomend this straightener:)

    before after pics-http://www.folica.com/Sedu_Ionic_Cera_r1/a>
I just got this one from target (store not online) and its amazing!

    http://www.target.com/T-Studio-Tourmalin/a>
THE CHI!!!!!!! I have black girl hair and when i use it m hair totally changes texture. You will spend over $100 on it but you will be happy you did.

I need a new hair straightener?

well i wanted the chi one, but i dont really think my parents will spend $120 for it. :[[ so is there anywhere i could get the chi for like.... less than $100? or what other kind of straighener is really good for like $90 or less?

thanks :]I need a new hair straightener?
CHI's are realllly good, but i heard from over 50 people [on internet reviews] that they do not last long at all. they break easily, even if you don't drop it, sometimes it will just randomly give out. so i wouldn't suggest getting a CHI, it wouldn't be worth it.

i have a 2'' BedHead straightner. i would suggest that. i got mine online for about $70, i think. i've had it for over a year and it seems and works like new! [do not get the small 1'' bedhead, even though its cheaper, it's really crappy]

even though my BedHead one is kind of pricy, it's worth it. so far, it's lasted a while. it's fantastic and it would be worth the money (:I need a new hair straightener?
The bottom line is: if your hair is hard to straighten, you need a good professional flat iron. In order to do that, you need to spend the money.

Do like my daughter did, ask for it for a special occasion like your birthday. In my opinion Chi is good, but Sedu is better. Unlike Chi,

it has an on/off switch and temperature dial. They also have a longer use life than Chi. We have one and love it. It costs a little over a hundred. We got ours at Folica, but I'd google it and find the best price. Per my stylist sister, never use one over 350 degrees and always use a silicone spray to protect your hair before flat ironing. Good luck!
Go to Target, they have pretty good ones, here are some of them:

    http://www.target.com/gp/search/189-9437872-1036904?field-keywords=hair+straightener%26amp;url=index%3Dtarget%26amp;ref=sr_bx_1_1_1_9%26amp;x=0%26amp;y=0%26amp;sprefix=hair+stra
Ebay. Or, Sally beauty. They might have special colors that go on clearance or something. Sally also has a generic CHI that is the same basically...but I don't remember the name. Anyway...any ceramic plate iron will be OK...but I would start saving for the CHI
I have a GVP and I really like it. It has adjustable heat, ceramic plates and costs $60. They had alot of styles and colors at Sally. They were all so cute that I had a hard time choosing!

    http://www.sallybeauty.com/GVP-Flat-Iron/a>
the helen of troy ceramic iron is a good bang for your buck. i think i paid like $30 for mine. you can get it a Sally Beauty. it's not quite as good as a chi but it does a great job.
The Corioliss Pro V is good. It has temperature control too.

www.sfrproducts.net has it for under $90 plus they have a coupon code ';blog10'; that gets you 10% off of that.
there's a straightener call ';pi'; out there....my friend has it and it looks and works almost excactly the same as a chi. and she only bought it for like $30. =]
    http://www.folica.com/BaByliss_Pro_Na_d3/a>

This one is very good (: Marked down to $100 from $160, so it's a pretty good deal. Good luck (:
I have a CHI and I absolutely love it! I ended up breaking my last one, but then went and bought another one just like it because I like it so much. I recommend looking on Ebay. (:

You could try looking on www.ebay.com or www.amazon.com I got my straightners from boots from 100pound to 50pound!! Good Luck xx

    Need a new hair straightener?

I don't have like very much money to spend, and I need a really good hair straightener, because my old one doesn't completely straighten it, and it damages it more than it a hair straightener should damage hair, so does anyone have suggestions for really good hair straighteners and where I could get them (for like under 50 dollars?) thanks:)Need a new hair straightener?
You won't find anything really good for under $50. If you want a good hair straightener you're gonna have to shell out at leas $100. But it's worth it, because your hair will look better.

I need a new hair straightener..?

My hair is very big and frizzy when I blow dry it, so I must use a straightener after. I have heard CHI flat irons are good, but I have never tried one.

Anyone have hair like mine that could suggest a flat iron for me?I need a new hair straightener..?
Ion from professional salon is the only one that works good on my frizz, they're amazing! I have a ceramic one from a salon that is good too, but not nearly as good as the ion.I need a new hair straightener..?

Any ';ceramic'; straightener will work really well. There's such a difference between those and the $20 ones you can buy at the drug store. Changed my life!
I suggest one of these Coriolis,Chi,or Remington wet2straight there all good Straighteners you can look them up on the internet or ebay.I have curly hair and I have a Chi and a Remington but my friend she has super curly hair she uses the Coriolis. We also use

John Frieda frizz serum which helps out a lot with the frizz.
    i have a 200$ CHI one

    it works great

    u should try it!

    best answer?
    ION straightners.

i own one and i have frizzy hair., it moisturizes, smooths, and sleeks also adds shine to your hair. if you get one of these you'll love it! i do :)

i recomend it for my clients too. you can find one at a beauty salon. i also own the ION blowdryer it doesnt make your hair that frizzy when you blow dry it. but be sure for whatever iron you get use frizz ease to help prevent frizzy hair and a serum to protect the heat of the iron that causes damage. goodluck!
CHIs are pretty good but they can cause breakage, i suggest Sedu or Solia. They last for such a long time and they don't cause split ends or breakage as much as other flat irons. You can get them for really good deals at follica.com. (: good luck
CHI. The best out there, lasts the longest, sleek design. You'll have it for years to come.
My friend, Go and get GHD hair straightener. Because GHD works perfectly for the frizzy hair.

I had such kind of hair. But now its perfect after using this.

    New hair straightener?

okay, i have a white 2'; revlon ceramic straightener. i've had it for probably two years now. i think its time for a new one.. any ideas on some good, somewhat cheap ones? i know Chi's are probably the best, but i don't really have $150 to spend on a straightener haha.

    thanks :]New hair straightener?
i just got a chi off of ebay for $35!

    check them out!New hair straightener?
i have a black conair ceramic straightener, that is awesome! i got it last summer at wal-mart, for $35. and i havent had a issue with its since.
my hair is not easy to straighten, but i didn't have $150 for a chi either. i found a chi on ebay for 50 bucks, and i've had it for over 2 years. it's been the best!
Utla usually has a different type of straightner on sale every week. They are good kinda expensive ones but they go on sale for $20-$40. For a somewhat cheap one I would recommend one by Helen of Troy.
EBAY is a great place to get a staightner!! I get myn in the stores but i've looked on ebay and my next one is comming from ebay!!

PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE YOU JUST TELL ME TO GET A CHI. Thank you :)

OK, so right now I have a Solia flat iron and I love it, but I've had t for a year and I've noticed it's starting to look a bit run down (I use it almost everyday) I thought I should just replace it now before it like, explodes or something while I'm in the middle of straightening my hair. Now, I would LOVE another Solia, a Sedu, or a Chi, but my current budget just can't afford that right now. So, does anyone know a good straighten anywhere from $40-$60? ($70 would be OK too I guess :P) Thanks!!New hair straightener?
Hmm well i have a CHI and to get it at a good price, ask a common hair person you go to and ask them to order it for you. You could get it for a discount.

I got mine for about 100 dollars. CHI works really good. You should get THAT becuase it's worth it. :)New hair straightener?
The one I have is a Conair, it works great, you can get at Target for $19.49!

    http://www.target.com/gp/detail.html/sr=/a>
Well, it depends on what your hair's like, but on my sister (her hair's wavy and thin-ish) an Infiniti by Conair works perfectly fine. On my hair though, which is thick and curly, it does nothing. The Infiniti is just $40-$50!
A BedHead light up very radd style straightener is 60. Supposedly it's awesome. I want one.
why dont you just get your hair permanently straightened.

    thats what i did.

cost only 200 for like 2 years.

    haha.

    (:
I got a cheap straightener, since I just wanted to try and see what my hair would look like straight, and actually, its a very good straightener. Its only $10 (yeah seriously) but other than the fact that it doesnt have floating plates, and doesnt say ';Chi'; on it, its great. A Chi (my friend has one) honesly feels pretty cheap compared to mine, but I think the Chi gets hotter quicker. Youre probably thinking ew $10 that things a piece of **** but its pretty good. And the best part is if you break it, it wont be a big loss. If you drop a chi and break it, well youre pretty much ******.

I need a new hair straightener.?

I need a new straightener. My old one is messed up and pulls my hair.

What are some of the BEST brands at reasonable prices?

I have mid-back length, thick hair. and Bangs. I want one that would be good for that type of hair. I would like to keep it rather inexpensive but i'm willing to pay more for the quality.

Thanks in advance :]I need a new hair straightener.?
VS Sassoon, or the one that tresemme made with some other company.

Surprisingly, some of the cheaper straighteners are the best.I need a new hair straightener.?
GHD hehe but they can be quite expensive.

I have a VS Sassoon which i got for $100 aus. I find it quite good and i would recommened it. It has ceramic plates and can be used cordless and with a cord. it also comes with a stand.

I need a new hair straightener?!?

school is starting soon, and i need to go buy a new straighteners. my hair is very thick and wavy. i need one with a heat setting that will straighten my hair properly. also, i'd like something that heats up quickly. one more thing: nothing toooo expensive! thanks! (sry if i spelled straightener wrong)I need a new hair straightener?!?
Go to Marshalls, Walgreens, Walmart. They sell straighteners between $20-$30. Also try Sally's Beauty Supply( That's where I got mine).

Good luck. (:I need a new hair straightener?!?
make sure you look at the heat setting. mine goes up to 30

and if you put it on 30 it seems to work just fine. my hair is long

and thick. i dont reallly think it is necessary for it to heat up quickly..

it seems like if it takes a while it gets hotter. just plug it in as soon as you get up then go do something else and give it time to get nice and hot.
Get a chi. I know their kind of expensive but it's completely worth it. I have one and once I used my friends that she got for $30 and it didn't even work half as well. I had thick hair but I got it thinned. You should too, it will be easier to straighten and if you have really thick hair than it should still be thick even if you get it thinned. Good luck!
hey! my hair is really fuzzy when washed so i use a black ghd! it so good it meets everything you have said!! you can buy it cheap it heats up quick and it will control that frizz!! :) its quick and easy to use plus you can make waves and curls with it!

    hope this helps?! :)
I have a remington professional which has heat setting and it heats up quick. It is really good I only got it for 40 bucks and I have coarse, thick, frizzy curly hair and this does the job.
HAI convertable iron, it heats up in 30 seconds or so has temperature control and works great. Better than Chi or Sedu.

You can order it on folica.com it's about 75 bucks on sale right now.

    Here's the link: http://www.folica.com/HAI_Convertable_d4/a>

i got mine at traget though, and i think it was 20 there
Get something by either conair or bedhead.

I have the conair nano silver tormaline infused 1 inch straightener.

    It works REALLY good.

Ion diffusier, floating plates, it has everything.

    Its about 70 dollars

I recommend just a big straightener. Read the package and make sure it gets really hot! That should do it. :)
Go with Conair, I have a black and yellow one (I named it Bumble bee ((transformers)))

I'm looking for a new hair straightener?

any suggestions? i don't want to spend too much. under $50 would be great.I'm looking for a new hair straightener?
Remington wet 2 straight works great on dry hair. It says it's also for wet, but it takes a long time to dry it. But like I said, it's great on dry hair and will straighten it in one stroke when it's on the high setting. It costs about $25.I'm looking for a new hair straightener?
I just bought the Remington wet2straight and wasn't sure how well it would work since it was less than $25 dollars but I was happy it work quite well. I haven't tried it on wet hair yet but I probably won't after reading some of the other answers. Even so the wet2straight is good choice at a good price. I bought mine at walmart but I've seen it a few other places as well so it should be easy for you to find.
Ion straightners are great! I'm not sure exactly how much they cost but they do a great job without causing a lot of frizz!
It is one of those things where you get what you pay for. I have a CHI turbo, it was about $89 and I love it!

I had a cheaper Conair one and it died on me after a couple of months.
I use the Remington wet2straight. It works sooooooooo well. It actually doesn鈥檛 work on wet hair very well. It smells burnt and doesn鈥檛 really straighten it. But the reason it works so well with dry hair is because it has higher temperatures than other (not pro) straighteners because it is suppose to work on wet hair. My hair is realy thick and curly, and it works really well. I normally put it on 28 (the highest is 30).

I need a new hair straightener!!?

Does anyone know the best hair straightener to use for thick wavy hair?? Preferably not to expensive and i can buy in a store not online. Thank You :)I need a new hair straightener!!?
My hair dresser used a CHI straightener on my niece's hair. She has really thick coarse hair and it worked great. I know they sell them at J C Penney and most any place they sell professional hair products but they are about $100.

    New Hair Straightener?

So i need a new hair straightener and I want one that actually works and doesnt damage my hair for a reasonable amount of money. My hair is REALLY thick; and I want one that really does work. Does any one have any suggestions and maybe some pictures of hair when it is straight? Thanks alotNew Hair Straightener?

Honestly, all straighteners damage your hair. The best straightener out there has to be a CHI. The cheapest one is around $70 (which sounds like a lot, but is good priced!)! Try folica.com!

CHI's straighten your hair in usually one stroke (or two!). My friend has EXTREMELY thick hair, and she says it works just fine!
    get a CHI

    they are the best

they may be expensive but its worth it

    mine was $130 at Target.

I have really thick hair too so I usually stay with the brand Conair for a hair straightner.
Try the CHI. I heard it's the best straightener out there and doesn't kill your hair. However, it's about $100. Might be worth it :)

  • Need a new hair straightener ?

so i have a conair straightener but it seems to creat alot of friz in my hair so i want to get a better one. Im not looking to spend a fortune of this, probably not to much over 100 dollars. need one that wont friz up my hair and cause damage. I was thinking about a Chi? are those really good? are they as good as the paul brown straighteners? any advice?

thanks in advance! Need a new hair straightener ?
CHI's do not last long. They break way too easily. Don't waste your money, and don't listen to the one's that are telling you it's the best. Sedu is one of the best straighteners out there and it is only $100.

To purcase a Sedu at the cheapest price, go to Folica.com , scroll to the very top and click on Hair Styling. On the left hand side, there will be and A - Z brand list. Find Sedu, click on it, and everything else from there is self - explanitory.

For more information on a Sedu, you can go to sedubeauty.com.

I would also recommend using a 1 inch instead of 1 1/2 inch, because the 1 1/2 doesn't do curls very well.

It reaches 410 degrees, with tempature control if you would like a lower tempature. CHI does not have tempature control. That means if the set tempature is too high for your hair, it can fry.

Celebrities have nice hair, and they don't use CHI. They use Sedu. There is something called Sedu hairstyles on every beauty website. No CHI hairstyles right?

    Never use on wet hair.

Also, on Folica.com, people can post reviews on products after they have tried them. Here are they stats on CHI:

73 people say it is 1 star (bad) out of out of 1275 total reviews.

    Sedu:

29 people say it is 1 star (bad) out of 3881 total reviews.

    That speaks for itself!

If your hair starts to get damaged, turn down the tempature.

    Take a look at this.

    http://www.folica.com/appliances/straigh/a>

Note how CHI is number 7.

Note how GHD is number 4.

Sedu is the top flat iron and there is proof!

Or if you want something a little cheaper but also is still better than the CHI, get a Solia, it is second in line to the Sedu.

okay so my friend just got this amazing hair straightener from my state fair and its called a MA. idk where you could find it (which i kno doesnt realy help) but if you search it i am sure you can find it. also, the conair straightener that with ionic steam also works really well. it produces steam keeping your hair moisturized...GOOD LUCK

Name : Enzo Milano (oooh sounds fancyy haha)

Where To Find It : Costco Wholesale

    Price : $100
Try the Conair hair straightener. Good luck.
I think BedHead ones are good:D.
The best hair straightener - in value for money is the GHD here is what it looks like:

    They are GREAT!
yah they are amazing and get thermal sprayy

I have $40 and I want to buy either a new hair straightener or some black flats. What should I buy?

I have a hair straightener it's Revlon and I've had it for like 4 or 5 years now and it doesn't work that well anymore. I'm thinking I should get Remington, I saw it on sale the other day for $40.

But I really want some Steve Madden black flats. I don't have any solid black flats.

What should I buy? Hair straightener or black flats?

    http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/31/a>

http://images.buzzillions.com/images_pro/a>I have $40 and I want to buy either a new hair straightener or some black flats. What should I buy?
ooh the remington's great. i have the remington tstudio tourmaline with 2.25 inch pink ceramic plates and i love it! it works so great and leaves my hair silky smooth and straight for the whole day.

the black flats are okay. i'm not really crazy about them. i would rather get a cheaper and more simple patent black flat with a bow.

so i would spend the 40 bucks on the straightener.

=]I have $40 and I want to buy either a new hair straightener or some black flats. What should I buy?
black flats wear out in say, a year or so. but straightener will last a pretty long time, and you'll probably be using it more than those black flats. (i use my straightener almost every day).

i say buy the straightener first, and save up your money again for those adorable black flats later. :]
Buy a cheaper straightener and you might have enough for both no.

Vidal Sasoon straighteners by the way are FANTASTIC , just a little bit of info for you .
I would go for the straightener, because Steve Madden heels will either 1. Go on sale or 2. Go out of style while a hair straightener will be used alot!
    hey i have that straighter

    i'd get the straighter

    flats can wait =]

    answer mine thanx

    http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;/a>
personally i would get the straightener cuz you will just grow out of the shoes.and you could use it everyday but u wont use the shoes every day
straightener. people notice ur hair before your feet. :)
straightener! u probably hav alot of shoes.

fyi (well this is coming from a girl who doesn't care about shoes and buys a million hair products) lol
    straightener definitely.
    straightener =]
its actually reallly up to you know one can tell you how to spend money.
Neither, save your cash ( you will need it).

Will she get mad if I ask for a new hair straightener?

Ok so my grandma bought me a really nice Sedu straightener and 5 months later today it broke!it doesnt turn on!but like i feel bad if i ask for another one cuz shes takin me on a shoppin spree at the mall and like shes already spent lots of money on me for my acting lessons but like i cant live without my straightenr i use it every day!she has money but like you have to give her a good reason for her to buy u sumthing. So do u think she will say yes or get mad? Will she get mad if I ask for a new hair straightener?
i wouldnt ask for a new one, but tell her its broken.....if she says shell get you a new one, offer to pay for half of it, thats what id do!Will she get mad if I ask for a new hair straightener?
Well, maybe you should wait for a special religious holiday or your birthday before you ask for one.

Or maybe save up yourself and buy one yourself.

It'd be nicer if you bought one yourself.

Or you can ask her to buy you one and then pay her back because honestly, I think it's kind of dread to ask her to buy another one.
Get a ';babysitting'; job and buy YOURSELF one! Your grandmother would probably. . .and undoubtedly. . .love YOU MORE! Sometimes. . .we just need to take care of ourselves! You know what I mean?!

HELP! I'm looking for a new Hair straightener!!!!!?

    HI!

Right now I own a pretty cheap hair straightener (the brand is called 'style elements') and would like to upgrade to a better one. From what I've seen on youtube, watching 'how to' videos, the brands CHI, FHI, HAI, BIOSILK, and CRICKET are the top brands. The straightener I have now only has 2 settings, also (on and off, haha) so I would like a straightener with heat settings and such. I would also like to be able to curl my hair with it because that looks very pretty. But I keep trying with my straightener I have now and it never works.

So if you have any suggestions then , I would appreciate it.

THankssss!HELP! I'm looking for a new Hair straightener!!!!!?
GHD's are the best in the world they are about 拢100 but i have thick frizzy hair and they work fab they can curl 2, there is loads of different types they do check it outHELP! I'm looking for a new Hair straightener!!!!!?
I have remington, and it works for me... try it.. i get my curly hair straightened for about 15 minutes to perfection :)

    And tips :

Always use that thing that helps your hair with big heat... my friend almost burned her hair without it :)
I am using vital sasoon ceramic. I have frizzy and wavy hair it works wonders plus for the price you can't beat it. Another friend of mine has the same one and she also loves it. I think it was $16 when I bought it a year ago.
    Buy a GHD. They're amazing
buy GHD's they work wonders for me but they do cost quite a bit.
Get BaByliss, its great. but if you have really curly hair get a GHD.

but in my views i tried both and the BaByliss is just great.

I'm Thinking About Buying a New Hair Straightener...?

*I've heard that if you buy/use a cheap hair straightener, your hair will age by several years - Is this true???

*If price were to be taken out of the equation, what would be the ideal straightener to use???

*Bringing price back into the matter, what would be a good straightener brand to use that won't age or destroy my hair???

*I live in Australia - If that needs to be known to answer my question...

    Thankyou!!!

    :)

    :)

:)I'm Thinking About Buying a New Hair Straightener...?
    hey im aussie too!

all straighteners fry your hair unless you use heat protectant i have a remington one it was only $40 and works good i now always use heat protect becuase my hair used to be really dry before i did now its in great condition i dont think the price matter at all mine goes up to 230 deegrees and heats up in about 10 seconds

in my opinion in works fineI'm Thinking About Buying a New Hair Straightener...?
*Not ';age'; specifically, but it will fry up a lot faster.

*Ceramic straighteners are the best. They don't fry your hair as bad(also use heat protection sprays) and they have more heat and heat up faster.

*I got a generic brand(generic doesn't necessarily mean bad quality) for $50 and it works great. Just make sure you buy heat protection sprays so they don't damage your hair as much and defrizzes it more. I got mine at Sally's but I'm not sure if those are in Australia. I know a very popular brand of straighteners are CHI. I think ceramic straighteners there can get as low as around $70, maybe cheaper. Then they can also get up into the $200 range.
I got a hair straightener for christmas.. and it's one of the best christmas presents i've ever gotten.

My one was pretty damn expensive, but I know that a lot of hair Straighteners require you to spray a chemical in your hair to prevent it from getting damaged. My one is great because it's a lot like an iron.. You fill a compartment with water and it releases steam, so my hair straightener doesn't require you to use any hair chemicals. When you think about it, even though it was pretty damn expensive, you save more money in the long run from not buying hair chemicals.

One thing I would recommend without a doubt is getting a hair straightener that doesn't require you to spray protective chemicals in your hair.

My straighteners brand is VS Sassoon.

    Good luck.
cheap hair straighteners don't age the hair as such but they do fry it up and create split ends faster than a more expensive one would

to reduce the damage i would recommend using a thermal resist spray i use redken thermal resist it is very affective and Only costs about $25

if you dont want to pay much you cant go wrong with a Remington,

but do not get the wet2Straight one straightening wet hair will make bad split ends faster Remington hair straighteners only cost about $60 in target or kmart

if you dont mind paying a little more GHD is also very very good
No! You must always always always use heat protection spray. They say that they coat the hair but it really does do damage if you don't. You can't go wrong with GHD. My friends and my Mum have one and they last a long time. They use them at the hair salon I go to. Invest in one :) Don't buy a CHI. While they are good while they last, they break so much faster and have so many problems with the cords. It is hell trying to return them as well.
i have a vs sasoon straightner that you flick a little switch and it changes to a curler, it does the job and gets pretty hot. i think they all fry your hair its not natural to do that too it and i guess it depends how much you use it p.s im aussie too
Braun Satin hair is the best ceramic Straightener from braun here it is picture

    http://tbn0.google.com/images?q=tbn:Piig/a>

    it is also inexpensive
Well cheap brands overall harm the hair more, it fries your hair.

Uhmm try something like Wet2Straight if you're on a budget.

If you aren't on a budget i recommend the Sedu, GHD, or the Chi.

    You're Welcome (:
    GHDS :)

    the white ones are hot
    GHD's

    (Good Hair Day's)

    AMAZING HAIR WORK!!!!!!
ghd's! expensive, but you get what you pay for i think. always use a heat protection spray whatver you buy :)

I'm getting a new hair straightener....?

and was wondering which is best,a chi or paul mitchell? i have shoulder lengh hair that is thick. im looking for one that will keep my hair straighrt all day (the one i have now doesn't).

i've heard super good things about the chi straightener! and plus it comes in pink :)
i just got the chi and it works really good and keeps my hair straight all day
  • buy cosmetics
  • Need a new hair straightener??

I need a new hair straightener and Ive been looking around. It seems the CHI is the best. But I also saw the Maxiglide on Hsn the other day.But Im always skeptical of the hsn.So which one is better ?Thanks

(By the way my hair is shoulder length, thick and wavy,If that helps with anything.)Need a new hair straightener??
Stick with the chi hair straightener.

    http://www.target.com/CHI-Ceramic-Style-/a>

i have should length, thick hair to!

and it's great, and it doesn't leave it so frizzy like the other ones.

also i suggest you use the chi thermal protection as well.

and when you get out the shower, put on the

garnie fructis leave in conditioning cream sleek and shine.

    http://www.cvs.com/CVSApp/catalog/shop_p/a>

you put it on when you get out of the shower with your hair wet.

when it gets dry your hair smells so good, and it's not dry looking.

    STRAIGHTENING YOUR HAIR WET,

    is SUPER bad especielly curly.

in the end it's going to be very damaged.

it happened to my sister, and she had to go thru a long

hair process.Need a new hair straightener??
While I haven't tried either, I was very intrigued by the MAXI-Glide straightener, only because of the tiny heated bumps that are on the plate.

I think this is an ingenious idea, because when you straighten hair, it will just FLATTEN any tangles or waves that are in the strand of hair...not straighten it.

Those little heated bumps will actually make sure your hair is STRAIGHT while it is on the heating plate - get it?

This is why I usually use a comb through my hair, and FOLLOW it with the straightener (kind of falls off sometimes but it works very well when I can get it to stay).

Therefore I would advise you give the MAXI-Glide a try.

The CHI I have also heard is amazing though, but those little heated bumps have really sold me!
CHI is a very good brand if you are looking for a high quality long lasting straightener. if you are not looking to spend that kind of money, the vidal sasoon straighteners are about 60-70 and the results are very good, but it might need to be replaced after a year or 2. other good ones is the new conair infiniti
The kiyoseki is the best straightner in the world trust me on this one.It can straighten and it can curl your hair if you want. And also when it hot outside your hair stays straight it will not frizz outside. This iron is also healthy for your hair.My hair is poofy frizzy SUPER curly and it works so good on my hair. I really cant live without it. To so see the commercial and reviews go to www.kstyler.com and if you have any questions you can always email me hope this helped.=)

I got mine at ULTA. I LOVE IT!!! It works really good. You can set the temperature and everything. It's pink and brown and is normally about 40$. I'm not sure what its called though, sorry!!
    I love the Remington Wet2Straight.

i have curly hair, and it staightens my hair wet, and dries it, which is a bonus. (:
CHI is the best overall. It doesn't damage your hair unlike most hair straighteners you would see.
um well i hear that conair and bedhead works really well if that helps
between those two get the chi but look on folica.com

    the sedu is number one

I need a new hair straightener?

So I need a new straightener and I was just wondering what brand should I get/ what is they best straightener you have used so far?I need a new hair straightener?
    wet to dry

you can get it at walmartI need a new hair straightener?
Ive used everything, and by that I mean EVERYTHING. My mom is a hairdresser on Newbury street so I started with a conair when I was 7 and worked my way up to one of my mom's $ 700 professional straighteners...

But my very favorite was the corioliss that I recently tried and bought.

It straightens AND softens, and can even make AMAZING bouncy curls. The straightener I bought was only $80 and you can upgrade any time by returning it and paying less than half of the upgrade's price.

The site is very cool : http://www.corioliss.com/

and has how-to videos along with an online store.
i use the kiyoseki. but i've heard the chi is amazing as well. if you're going to get a straightener, it's probably wise to invest money into it, because the cheaper ones damage hair, and don't even do a good job of straightening evenly. [:
Chi is one of the best, not only has it been around for a long time it was one of first straighteners made. It heats up really quick and the plates don't harm your hair as much. I'd use a heat protecting spray though because any heat still does harm your hair. I suggest Nexxus Heat Protexx.

    I hope I helped,

    Chi or a GVP

Chi straighteners are the best by WAY FAR!!!!

I'm looking for a new hair straightener?

What would you reccommend for curly, frizzy hair?I'm looking for a new hair straightener?
I recommend a professional one. Chi, Infrashine, etc. They are sold in salons and usually the stylists use the same ones. Don't go cheap here because in the long run, you will get your money's worth. If you just buy a cheap one now, it can break on you and then you will end up buying another one or the expensive one you could have bought in the first place! Plus, the cheaper you go, the more it could just damage your hair. Been there, done that. :o\I'm looking for a new hair straightener?
I have a corioliss and I really love it. I have crazy frizzy thick, wavy hair and this makes it look great! It also curls your hair if you twist it a certain way, so if you want soft, natural looking curls this is the way to go! And I think they are like $45 on ebay. Hope this helps!
    one word : Chi

    but another word: EXPENSIVE
I would recommend something wide with high settings on it. Usually it will say on the back what its best for. Conair is always good though. Wal Mart has some pretty cheap ones if your interested.
well i have the conair wet to straight i love it i've had it for like almost 7 months now ive never like one like this one before!! try it its at wal-mart for only $25 bucks!!

=== Tips for buying professional hair appliances ===

Do NOT buy professional hair appliances from unauthorized places like amazom.com, eBay, Target, Walmart, etc. Because if you do, manufacturers will refuse to honor the warranty. Buy from licensed places like salon, licensed professional beauty stores like Folica.com, Ulta.com, West Coast Beauty Supply Inc. etc
DEFIANTLY A CHI they are one of the best hair straighteners out there but kind pricey but worth it
I recomend Bemington Wet2Straight. It straightens frizzy, curly hair even when it's wet!
Remington Wet 2 Straight is awesome. It takes a while to do it with your hair wet but works great. I blowdry my hair and then use it and it is awesome!!!
Get the Sedu. It is awesome. I bought mine after a black girl told me she loved it and it worked great on her super curly hair. Mine is simlar so I bought one and Love it. It goes up to 410 degrees and comes with a heat mat.
    ghd or the chi
the CHI or bedhead...they are both very expensive but worth gettin!! i have the CHI nd i have horrible curly, wavy, frizzy, thick hair and i always had a hard time straightin my hair but then someone told me about the CHI nd is works GREAT i promise you!!

How often should you buy a new hair straightener?

Well, Really... You need to CLEAN your straightners once or twice every week to get all the gunge off and it will straighten your hair better after you clean it. You can get straighter cleaning spray, i don't kno where from but salons use it!

Ur straigners will last longer if you clean them..

Then after about 2 - 3 years i would change them as the ceramic would be completely worn off..How often should you buy a new hair straightener?
Whenever yours fails to straighten your hair. As long as it still works, use it :)How often should you buy a new hair straightener?
    Whenever it breaks.
    every 2 days.

    New hair Straighteners?

Hi, my Straighteners broke and im looking for a new pair, I use ghd's but need to find a cheaper pair lol I found a website and spotted a nice purple pair for about 拢56, could these be fake? it seems too good to be true, here is the link -http://www.ukonlineghd.com/index.php?mai/a>

    thanks xNew hair Straighteners?
Hiya that website does look fake to me. They are very good at making it look genuine but the website hasnt got the ghd stamp.

Look on the real ghd website - http://www.ghdhair.com/customer-care/cou/a>

If you look on the right it shows you all the scamming websites who sell fake ghds.

And to be honest with you all the genuine websites that sell the real ghds are all near 拢100 + never 拢56!New hair Straighteners?
yes they are fake, nearly made the mistake of buying them last week but then went onto official GHD website and they give lists of fake GHD sites and can check the website address to see if it is fake. Is it looks too cheap then its prob fake.
Yes ,some products to buy online will cheap ,such as this site ,it all cheap .
I had ghd's but once at my sisters place i used her straighteners (Nutri Heat Straightners) They are really good. They retail at about 拢70 but Ebay has them cheaper. If you prefer ghd's maybe try ebay? Or type what your looking for in the google shops tab?
Why don't you try and google the site for reviews? That way you can see if they are the real deal or not. I wouldn't reccommend anything other than GHD though.

    Good luck!
    yes they could be

http://www.argos.co.uk/wcsstore/argos/im/a>I want to buy a new hair straightener, that both straightens and curls. Which one do you recommend? ?
You can straighten and curl hair with all hair straighteners. I have had straighteners from $10-$100+ they all have worked. I learned how to curl with m straightener from www.youtube.com. It depends on the with of the plates on the straightener on what size of curl you get. There are few different ways to makke a curl with a straightener so just get the straightener out and see what works best for you. The straightener I would reccomend and I use is the PHI pink 1';. It is about $70. Good Luck!
I know you said not too expensive, but I have the GHD and it is perrrrfect! It is the only straightener I can successfully curl with too. I consider it worth the price, and maybe you can find it somewhere for a discount.

    everyones going to say Chi
  • buy cosmetics
  • I just got a new hair straightener, does it compare to my old one?

Recently, I purchased the Infiniti Nano Silver High Temperature Steam Straightener by Conair. I have not yet taken it out of the box, and I don't want to until I know that it actually works. I have wavy hair, and like to frequently straighten my hair, though I know lots of wet to dry straighteners aren't the best. My old straightener is the 1 inch Nano Gold Ceramic Straightener with Floating Plates from Vidal Sassoon Answers made specifically for fine hair. Though this hair straightener works well, the Infiniti seems like I makes more sense as it adds moisture to hair (mine is very dry) instead of burning it. Which one is better?I just got a new hair straightener, does it compare to my old one?
I usually hear that straighteners from Conair dont work for everyone, so try it first, and if you like it, keep it! If it fries your hair or something, follow the return instructions and send it back (:I just got a new hair straightener, does it compare to my old one?
If your hair gets frizzy from moisture, it might not be the best choice. Don't throw out the packaging it came in , in case U want to return it, so try it out quick!!

Help with choosing a new hair straightener!!?

I would like to buy a hair straightener but there are so many choices I am so confused which one I should choose. Please don't say GHD because as much as I'd like a GHD, I just can't afford it.

    So far my choices are:

    - VS Sassoon Goddess Ionic Steam Straightener AU$179 (www.stylegoddess.com.au)

    - Remington Shine Therapy Straightener AU$134 - the plates are infused with Avocado oil rich w/ VItamin E (www.shinetherapy.com.au)

    - Marcos Hair straightener AU$150 (www.marcos-style.com)

So which of the above do you think I should buy? I want a straightener that I can use to straighten my hair as well as to curl and do flicks. Can anyone tell me if the VS goddess can do curls and flicks?

ThanksHelp with choosing a new hair straightener!!?
Remington Shine Therapy Straightener these ones look like they could be good any straighner with a ceramic plate are usually good!!

good luck deciding!!Help with choosing a new hair straightener!!?
Also, you might want to try the Biosilk straightener. But the top-of-the-line straightener is the Paul Brown, however. They're very pricey, but I've been able to find great prices on them via ebay.
I would say some straighteners by Tresemme are better if you really can't afford GHDs but if you can you should save up till you can afford them because they really are the best ones.
the vidal sasson i got was so horrible i could not even give it away-to get rid of it i mean- as it was soooo horrible...

    remington sounds good
    go for babyliss or tresseme

I need a new hair straightener. Any suggestions?

Ok, so I've had my Conair hair straightener since 6th grade (I'm a junior in high school now) and I loved it but just recently it went all stupid; It'll warm up and that little red light that tells me its warm will stop flashing and stay on and then after I use it for a few minutes it's like it just stops keeping itself warm and the red light will start flashing again so it cools down and then I have to set it down and let it warm up again. And it takes me twice as long to do my hair because I have to let it warm back up about 6-8 times. So I'm fed up with it and want a new straightener. I don't want to go over about $40 or so but I want something that's going to get the job done and not completely destroy my hair, although I am aware that no matter what straightener you buy you're going to get heat damage. What brand should I get? Should I stick to Conair? Or try something new? Also I don't exactly want to go to some special salon or something to get a straightener so let's stick to places like Target and Wal Mart :)I need a new hair straightener. Any suggestions?
i just bought a vidal sasson straighter at target (its lime green, but comes in pink, blue, and i think some other color) for $30 , it works great (:

its called a nano or something .I need a new hair straightener. Any suggestions?
Well I just came from the store and Conair has this NEW STRAIGHTNER by Conair INFINITI. Its really nice, it can be flipped into a curling iron too! And would advise you to stick with conair. I love it. And mind you that I have african american hair which needs an excessive amount of heat tp straighten and it straightens mine very well! Also it does not damage my hair, I love it.
Okay well Kmart and most places should have the Remington hair Straightners which are awesome! They are well priced and are just as good as the salon GHD's
if you don't want to go above $40 then maybe revlon... but if you can save your money up i would strongly suggest either a chi or sedu. u can get a chi for about $80+ on folica.com or at ulta. they work AMAZING and don't damage ur hair like a conair could..

I need a new hair straightener iidk what one to get...?

i need a new hair straightener cuz i broke mine, i had a CHI, but i want a better one.... idk what kind... i dont want to have to order it offline but i want a professional one that i can get at lik a salon, what are some good kinds? i heard paul mitchell is good... any priceI need a new hair straightener iidk what one to get...?
I have only used a Chi and a BabyLess Pro. Supposedly the BabyLess Pro titanium straightener is supposed to be better than a chi but I found the chi to be much better.I need a new hair straightener iidk what one to get...?
I have a Conair straightener that works really well.

I got it at Target. It was $46.
CHIs are supposed to be great..i heard they have some kind of wa rranty on them!!!
oooo get a Salon Creative Pro one. There basically GHD's but a lot cheaper :)

I want a new hair straightener. Is CHI really all that great? If not what brand works really good?

I've had the same hair straightener for about 2-3 years now. I got it all Sally's Beauty Supply %26amp; it works really well except for the fact that it has completely burned the crap out of my hair, especially my bangs. So, I was thinking about buying the CHI straightener. Is it really all that great? I want one that will curl my hair also. I know straightening your hair burns %26amp; damages your hair badly; what product can I put in my hair before I blow dry or straighten my hair so it'll some-what protect my hair ?I want a new hair straightener. Is CHI really all that great? If not what brand works really good?
I have a 1'; original Chi, and I love it (: You should totally get a Chi.

It really is that great. It curls, waves, flips, and straightens your hair, and doesn't burn it :D

Just be sure to use a heat protection spray, like Chi 44 Iron Guard. Simply spray it on dry hair before straightening. You don't have to rinse it out. It smells good, and keeps your hair soft and shiny and healthy. You can buy Iron Guard at beauty supply stores, Walmart, Target, and some drug stores and salons.

:DI want a new hair straightener. Is CHI really all that great? If not what brand works really good?
The CHI will burn your hair just as much as any straightener, to be honest. I personally prefer the GHD over a CHI, but that's just me. But really, I don't think what straightener you buy is that big of a deal. As long as it has a heat setting, it's fine.

A good product to put before you flat iron is Paul Mitchell Heat Seal. It's one of my favorites. There is also 44 CHI Iron Guard. It's a heat protectant as well, but I can't stand the cologny smell to it. Both work very well.
I would stick to GHD or cloud nine. That way you only have to go over each section once and this will save the condition of your hair. Also go to Sally's and get a heat protection spray but don't overload it you don't need much.
The Chi is a really good investment because it really is I think the best.
there is a straightener that works just like a chi but its cheaper. Its called a phi! those are def. the best!
chi is pretty good but ghd's are better in my opinion :)
the chi is awesome:) u can curl, wavy, or straighten ur hair... i love it and it straightens realy good:)

Best new hair straightener under $50?

Theres just so much new technology out now that i dont even know what feature would be good for my hair.

I have long, thick, black asian hair. its been straight permed, but its growing out. my natural hair is sorta poofy. I also want to use the straightner to curl my hair, so i prefer a skinny one inch one, i guess.

Please be specific on which features to look for, like infrared, ionic, tourmaline, blue sapphire, jade and steam!!

Any recommendation on durability and performance of specific brand would be nice. Oh, and no ghd or chi! because im preferably looking for a conair or something cheap. Also, i dont mind buying through the internet.

thanks!! best answer with good sources will get 10pts :)Best new hair straightener under $50?

I love the one my stylist has, a Paul Mitchell!
Infiniti by conair. It has four different temperatures. It's great!!! =)
GHD. they are AMAZING! most girls in ireland have them. they do my hair perfectly and i have tight curls. they cost 拢100 though. pricey but worth it.
GHD seriously couldnt live without them. they do everything. well worth every penny
ceramic conairs are decent. and they run 20-40 dollars.

paul mitchell is obviously a great one. you can find them new on Ebay for 100.
I got a 2-in-1 hair straightener and curling iron.

I bought it from Wal-Mart for only $30 and its amazing!

    I absolutely love it!

With the hair straightener, I can also slightly curl my ends.

It is called Infiniti by Conair and it can adjust temperatures and it heats up real fast!
use CONAIR. im not kidding, its really good. you cn control the temperature and everything. its ceramic, so thats also a plus. and its no more than $25. it lasts long too. i trust it %26amp; recomment it :DD
i got my starightener for $110 and it is a baby bliss
I have Ion's Color Brilliance Wet-to-Dry flat iron. Around 80 or 90 dollars at Sally's, and periodically goes on sale. Its FRIGGEN FANTASTIC!! I have super-doopey pigtail curls. When I let my hair air dry, its an inch off my head, and 6 inches when straightened, no joke. This flat iron is high-quality ceramic, so you hair glides off the plate, no tug. Its also designed to lock in hair color, which it does do very well (I notice my red stays for like 3 weeks longer). Its also cute to boot. Its white and purple, with glitter embedded into the white parts. Sally's also has a 90 day return policy with receipt. So if you try an appliance there and don't like it, you can always take it back. You have nothing to lose. However, if it can straighten my head, it can definitely straighten yours.
I use a straightener on my hair everytime I wash and dry it.

I have tried 2 and spent over 200 on each. My newest one I purchased is an I.S.O. I got an incredible deal in a kiosk in a mall in San Antonio..and the straightener is INCREDIBLE!! It literally brings out the natural oils in my hair(my hair is dry) when I use it, and makes my hair shine~! I am totally amazed and love it! I highly recommend it. Its the best I have used, and has a lifetime warranty. My hair has actually looked and become healthier since I have been using it.

Hope this helps. I think they have a website as well. :)

Hi what it is i am looking to buy a new hair straightener but don't know what to look for in a good one thanku

    i have seen

    andrew collinge perfect results

    philips ts shine dimond

    remington design

    babyliss pro 230

all of them go up to 230 but i just dont know what to look for in a good one thankyouHi what it is i am looking to buy a new hair straightener but don't know what to look for in a good one thanku
CHI IS HORRIBLE NEVER GET ONE!!!

Okay, the chi's are not good. Most break withing 6 months of the time you buy them, most don't have temp controls and just eend up frying your hair. Go with something that does minimal damage. The two best flat irons are:

    Solia:

    http://www.folica.com/Solia_Tourmalin_d1/a>

    Sedu:

    http://www.folica.com/Sedu_Ionic_Cera_d1/a>

The reason why these are so much better is that most flat irons, counting the chi too, say ';ceramic plate'; but really they only have thin coating of ceramic, not full plates. Ceramic is the least damaging to your hair.

    Look for:

    A temperature adjustemt

    Full Ceraminc Plates

Look for reviews on each you consider to see how good it really is from people who have used it.Hi what it is i am looking to buy a new hair straightener but don't know what to look for in a good one thanku
The best one is a ';Chi';. its about $100 but it awesome and works great!!
    Bedhead products are really good

Help....new hair straightener which one pls???

Can you recommend a good hair straightener, tell me why do you like it. I have thick curly long hair and I was using a remington but it died...it was ok not great.

Thank youHelp....new hair straightener which one pls???
    A GHD!

seriously GHD's are the best and most reliable hair straighteners out there (well in my opinion they are lol). They're really good. It takes me Five minutes each day to straighten my curly hair and it will stay straight for over a week.

They work on ALL hair types. They're really good and they last an extremely long time.

They also DON'T fry your hair. They're amazing!

and if ever you accidently forget to turn it off and go out somewhere, it'll turn off by itself. =]

It also comes with other hair products when you buy one.

Look it up, it's worth it.Help....new hair straightener which one pls???
You should really wash your hair more than once a week, thats disgusting if you dont!

Wel first off if you wont a good long lasting reliable flat iron you need to spend a little bit of money but its worth it. Everyone on here is going to tell you to use the CHI but i dont recommend it because its been used against my flat iron and SURPRISE SURPRISE my flat iron blew it out of the water. I use the Ion wet dry flat iron. It doesnt fry your hair because it has vents to release the steam. IF you dont dry your hair all the way for whatever reason it doesnt destroy your hair. and it truly leaves my hair smooth and shiny. It has multiple heat settings so you can use it for whatever you need!

    http://www.sallybeauty.com/Ion-Wet-to-Dr/a>
I also have really thick curly hair and I use the Remington Wet to Straight. Its a really great straightener, it makes my hair really shiny and REALLY straight. I have inspired many of my friends to try it and the loved it and went and bought one.
a sedu! i love it. it has multiple heat settings and it gets my thick curly hair super smooth and super straight. you can only get it online though, but it is definitely worth it!
I am absolutly in love with the CHI line of straighteners. They're really great, but just don't forget to put on some protective product on your hair before straightening it.
use a chi or a wet to straight you want one tht gets really hot
