Need a new hair straightener?

First of all i'm a guy.

moving on,

Hi, i have a cheap $20 hair straightener that i bought like 4 months ago and now it just burns my hair, it doesn't give that shiny and soft look, it just gives me straw like hair and doesn't heat like it use to. I heard chi is very good, but i dont know my straighteners so i'm not sure what chi to get, so many. My budget is like $60~140.Need a new hair straightener?
a CHI is good, but it doesn't have heat settings, and honestly, its not THE best. A few models have been known for cord defects, and some people expierieince super fried ends because of the texture of their hair.

In that price range, i highly recommend a Solia- they're affordable, and affective. They're salon irons, so it'll leave your hair soft, straight and healthy, and they're cheaper than CHI irons, and come with heat settings (which help you choose rather than just let your hair fry in 400 degree plates!):

The Sedu is another popluar model, which gets better reviews than the CHI. The Sedu is about 40 dollars more than the Solia, depending on when and what model you buy, but overall, i'd say its worth it if you really feel like splurging:

Honestly the best straightner for guys hair is the ghd Mini-Styler, I payer $330NZ for mine but i think there bout $170-200 american. But honestly its completely undamaging (damage does occur but compared to other straightners) and yeah itl hold your hair pretty much all day.

It auto adjusts its tempratures to your hair type (which it picks up) so you dont have to fiddle ect) and yea best styler ever

I dont think there well known of in america though so most people are gona say chi even though the ghd surpases it emensly.
