Looking to invest in a new hair straightener/flat iron. Which is the best?

Trying to decide between the Kiyoseki and the Sedu. Maybe even the Solia or CHI. Anybody who has used any of these, please let me know how you like them or if you didn't like them and why. Thanks.Looking to invest in a new hair straightener/flat iron. Which is the best?
I have some advice which might help you!

Okay, I have been researching hair straighteners for like 3 weeks straight. You need to decide for yourself but here are the top brands: Sedu and ghd. I know you may have NEVER heard of ';Sedu'; because it is sold exclusively through the world's largest online beauty store. Folica.com

You need to look for one with:

*** Toumaline technology (hair naturally produces positive ions, but toumaline produces extra negative ions and therefore smooths the hair cuticle and means less damage is done)

*** So look for a ceramic (NOT cermaic coated, it has to be all ceramic) plate straightener with Tourmaline infused into the plates.

I e-mailed ghd and they do NOT use toumaline (t-or-ma-line). Also they do not have adjustable heat settings so it remains at a constant high temperature which is NOT good for all hair types.

***So look for adjustable temperature.

*** A good straightener (or ';flat iron';) goes to minimum 200 degrees Celcius.

*** A swivel cord so that it doesn't get tangled and annoy you while straightening.

-I have heard that the brand 'CHI' is VERY BAD, some have CAUGHT on FIRE!! (Seriosuly).

i really dont like the chi b/c it make basically everyone i know have really frizzy hair. also chis tend to break a lot. one of my friends had 3 chis in 21/2 years, and no she didnt drop it or anything. i really like my remington t studio. it does a really good job, it was $70 and is even brown and pink!!!! it never makes my hair frizzy ( i have really thick curly hair) and all my friends want to borrow it. ive had it for 2 years and i havent had any problems with it.

mwwwwwwah!

I invested in the Sedu, and its great! Its the top of the line straightener celebs like victoria beckham, jennifer aniston and drew barrymore have one. i ordered mine on folica.com
I am a hairstylist and I have gone through alot of flat irons. I reccommend the wet/dry CHI its so quick and lasts. I have mine on all day and use it on almost everyone and it still kicks butt.
CHI works really well. Its a little bit expensive but it works wonders! Especially for me, cuz i have thick wavy/curly hair. I definately recommend CHI.
CHI is the universal tool of professional

hairdressers.
I have the red CHI and it works sooo good!

%26amp;%26amp;i would recommend the Sedu second.
