I need a new hair straightener?

well i wanted the chi one, but i dont really think my parents will spend $120 for it. :[[ so is there anywhere i could get the chi for like.... less than $100? or what other kind of straighener is really good for like $90 or less?

thanks :]I need a new hair straightener?
CHI's are realllly good, but i heard from over 50 people [on internet reviews] that they do not last long at all. they break easily, even if you don't drop it, sometimes it will just randomly give out. so i wouldn't suggest getting a CHI, it wouldn't be worth it.

i have a 2'' BedHead straightner. i would suggest that. i got mine online for about $70, i think. i've had it for over a year and it seems and works like new! [do not get the small 1'' bedhead, even though its cheaper, it's really crappy]

even though my BedHead one is kind of pricy, it's worth it. so far, it's lasted a while. it's fantastic and it would be worth the money (:I need a new hair straightener?
The bottom line is: if your hair is hard to straighten, you need a good professional flat iron. In order to do that, you need to spend the money.

Do like my daughter did, ask for it for a special occasion like your birthday. In my opinion Chi is good, but Sedu is better. Unlike Chi,

it has an on/off switch and temperature dial. They also have a longer use life than Chi. We have one and love it. It costs a little over a hundred. We got ours at Folica, but I'd google it and find the best price. Per my stylist sister, never use one over 350 degrees and always use a silicone spray to protect your hair before flat ironing. Good luck!
Go to Target, they have pretty good ones, here are some of them:

Ebay. Or, Sally beauty. They might have special colors that go on clearance or something. Sally also has a generic CHI that is the same basically...but I don't remember the name. Anyway...any ceramic plate iron will be OK...but I would start saving for the CHI
I have a GVP and I really like it. It has adjustable heat, ceramic plates and costs $60. They had alot of styles and colors at Sally. They were all so cute that I had a hard time choosing!

the helen of troy ceramic iron is a good bang for your buck. i think i paid like $30 for mine. you can get it a Sally Beauty. it's not quite as good as a chi but it does a great job.
The Corioliss Pro V is good. It has temperature control too.

www.sfrproducts.net has it for under $90 plus they have a coupon code ';blog10'; that gets you 10% off of that.
there's a straightener call ';pi'; out there....my friend has it and it looks and works almost excactly the same as a chi. and she only bought it for like $30. =]

This one is very good (: Marked down to $100 from $160, so it's a pretty good deal. Good luck (:
I have a CHI and I absolutely love it! I ended up breaking my last one, but then went and bought another one just like it because I like it so much. I recommend looking on Ebay. (:
